My main purpose as an art educator is to facilitate learning with art making at the center. My favorite mediums include ceramics, printmaking, photography, metalworking, and film, but I have experience teaching every art form. My love for clay started when I was in high school and has grown as I gain a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the hard work in the long ceramic process. Printmaking, metalworking, and photochemical photography are just as intensive in their processes, which why I find the products of these so rewarding. Lastly, I am very interested in digital media, from digital photography to editing with Adobe Photoshop, digital film, and various video editing softwares. In a digital world, it is impossible to stay distant from these digital mediums where there are no bounds of creation. Click here for my personal artwork.
